Make room for spaced practice
Build a revision plan that fits around your classes.

The idea
Spaced practice spreads study across multiple occasions instead of concentrating it in one last-minute session. The Learning Scientists recommend planning early and revisiting older material as well as the newest class. A calendar helps reserve those opportunities; it does not do the learning for you.
Try it in your routine
Start with your actual timetable. Choose one manageable topic and reserve several short appointments across the coming days. At each appointment, attempt questions from memory, check the answers and record what still needs attention. Adjust the next session to what you found difficult rather than following a rigid interval blindly.
Choose your tools
Keep the system small: a paper weekly planner, calendar or task list can all work. Use a specific task such as “explain two causes without notes” instead of “study history.” Leave room for unexpected assignments. An elaborate planning app is optional; repeatable study appointments are the essential part.
